I agree with all of your remarks about the technical side of metal gear and porting it over to the 360, and I guarantee im not trying to start anything, but one thing to maybe think about is a producers word over what the company will actually do. This situation brings to mind Bioshock for the 360 where Ken Levine stated till he was blue in the face that Bioshock would not be coming to the PS3, but as we know now time has passed and 2K is bringing it next week.

Im so very happy to be a PS3 owner right now, 2008 has completely washed away all the doubt and worry that I had about the system fall of last year. There is so many fantastic things happening with the PS3, and Im hoping more people will buy the system and join me online.

Resident Evil 1 on the GC, Resident Evil 2, and Silent Hill 1,2,3 are probably the only games that really scare me anymore. Resident Evil 4 gave me some pretty good scares on the first run through, especially with the regenerators and their breathing in the background, creepy stuff

It appears that the avatar that you design plays the role of Leonard's friend that you can use for online play, whether or not you can use Leonard's look or even the character himself for online play, which is what I think you are asking right, is an interesting question. I like the look of his character as well.
Yea ive had that happen to me as well, things can definitely go haywire in create mode but thank god for the pause and rewind. There are a few glitches that I hope will be fixed for release, such as when you have many pieces joined together, and when you try to remove just one of them you can sometimes get a situation where many joined parts will suddenly become separate and your whole scene can fall apart in front of you, pretty frustrating!

Some people are getting a little out of hand with how critical and offensive with how they treat 2k at the moment. I have to admit even I was pretty furious at first and I put out a hate post, but I will be grabbing this game. Even with its subtle flaws and differences, at it's core it is still the 2007 game of the year that many 360 players had the chance to play and now PS3 owners will get to experience.

Yea definitely, alot of real great behind the scenes info to how a beloved developer made an absolutely killer game. I have so much respect for Naughty Dog, ive loved every one of their games from the very beginning of Crash Bandicoot. And it sounds like the development for Uncharted 2 will go much smoother now that they are very well established on the PS3 architecture, hope to hear more soon!

Life ruining time consumption epic or leave your kid at little league for 5 hours accidentally while youre playing at home epic or leave your soon to be wife standing alone at the altar while youre sitting in front of a big screen at your friends house cause he's the only guy you know with 1080p epic, or completely blow off studying for finals during dead week to play the game and failing out of college epic. Not too shabby, hopefully this and White Knight Chronicles is a sign of great JRPG's for the PS3 to come in addition to Eternal Sonata the 21st. WKC is just going to be explosive in Japan in December, everybody knows the quality that Level-5 puts out, PS3 will overtake the 360 by storm I believe near Christmas, or possibly earlier. Though its possible there may be a battle of epic preportions due to Last Remnant VS WKC, its gonna be intense!

Im pretty excited for the Fall EA PS3 lineup, and thats a first for a while. I havnt been this excited for an EA game since SSX 3, which was fantastic. Hmm, i wonder how the Ubisoft Montreal's Shaun White Snowboarding is going to work out. Ubisoft needs to start leading on the PS3 I think, cause I know that Shaun White isnt.
